Best Things to do on the Oasis of the Seas
The Oasis of the Seas tends to be a favorite for cruisers. It’s not hard to figure out why either. This amazing cruise ship is part of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis-class that features plenty of on-board activities for the adventurous soul. If you are looking for a cruise ship that has a little bit for everyone to enjoy the Oasis of the Seas is sure to fit your requirements.
Vitality Spa: What better way to enjoy a cruise than to indulge yourself at the spa? The Oasis of the Seas Vitality Spa takes the pampering to a whole new level! There are an abundance of treatments offered at the Vitality Spa from basic facials to Botox treatments or from massages to acupuncture.
Quick Tip: If you are looking for the best deal on your trip to the spa wait until port days. Most of the time spa packages will be discounted when the ship goes in for port.
Vitality Spa also offers services for teens!
Flowrider: Get your adrenaline flowing on one of Oasis of the Seas’ two Flowriders. This exciting contraption immolates the feeling of surfing without having to leave the ship! The Flowrider is a free feature on the Oasis of the Seas and open to all guests at least 52” for the bodyboard or 58” for the Flowboard.
Rock Climbing: I have to admit I have always wanted to go rock climbing but the idea of doing it on an actual mountain wasn’t as appealing to me as trying it on a cruise ship. The Oasis of the Seas has two 43 foot high rock climbing areas for their guests and the views are pretty amazing!
Zip Line: For all of you adrenaline junkies the excitement doesn’t end with the Flowrider or the rock climbing walls! If you really want to get that heart a pounding the Oasis of the Seas has a zip line that is nine stories up and 82 feet across! Like the rock climbing and Flowrider the Zip lining feature on the Oasis of the Seas is also free to guests.
The Nightlife: A cruise on the Oasis of the Seas just isn’t complete without checking out the shows, clubs, and night activities. There is a jazz and comedy club, a karaoke bar for all of you singers, and of course live DJ events. You can also check out the Broadway hit musical, CATS, or take in an AquaTheater or ice skating show.
Ice Skating: Speaking of ice skating, guest can do that too! The ice skating rink is always a guest favorite for those with kids. My kids can’t get enough and it’s a perfect way to add in some much needed family time on your cruise vacation.
