Meet the New Carnival Horizon, Debuting in 2018

Are you ready for action and adventure on Carnival’s newest ship? The cruise of your dreams aboard an incredible vessel can soon be yours thanks to the all-new Carnival Horizon. Currently being built in Italy, the ship is set to debut in April of 2018. The first Carnival Horizon itinerary will revolve around the Mediterranean region and from there the ship will sail to New York. From New York, the Carnival Horizon will head toward its homeport of Miami where it will have year-round sailings to the Caribbean.
Set to hold 3,954 passengers, the ship will be filled with amenities and experiences that are sure to draw a crowd. Children will fall in love with the WaterWorks aqua park with giant water tube slide. There is also SkyCourse, a ropes course that brings guests to amazing new heights. Real daredevils can try their hand at SkyRide, a two-lane bike course that is suspended high above the deck. For those who prefer to keep their feet safely planted on the ground but love activity, try ping-pong, outdoor soccer, volleyball, or the basketball court.
Movie-lovers will enjoy the IMAX Theater aboard ship, the perfect place to be entertained after dinner at Guy Fieri’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse and Brewhouse. That’s right – there will actually be a brewery aboard ship that crafts its own exclusive microbrews (breweries are only available on two cruise ships in America, both being Carnival ships). If BBQ isn’t your thing, try Guy’s Burger Joint, Bonsai Teppanyaki and Sushi, Seafood Shack, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, or the main dining area. Whichever you choose, you will find a delectable meal expertly prepared.
When it is time to relax, you will find peace and calm in your Carnival Horizon plush suite or stateroom. Anyone searching for a little extra space onboard might want to consider booking a Havana Cabana Suite near the Havana Bar & Pool.
