AmaWaterways

The AmaMora is the latest cruise ship to launch in 2019 for AmaWaterways.

It’s always a great year for a cruise line when they launch a new ship. For AmaWaterways, it’s been a trifecta year with the launching of three new ships. The third and newest vessel in the AmaWaterways ships fleet is the AmaMora, and its inaugural season will be spent sailing seven-night cruises between Amsterdam and Basel along the Rhine River. The AmaMora will provide a desirable Rhine River cruise, a vacation that has moved to the top of many “must do cruises” list.

“We feel a particular connection to the launch of this new AmaWaterways Riverboat,” said Andy Melilli, the vice president of CruiseExperts.com who also serves on the Ensemble National Marketing Committee. “The Godmother of this new ship is none other than the president of the Ensemble Travel Group, Libbie Rice. We at CruiseExperts.com have been members of the Ensemble Travel Group for more than 20 years and have worked closely with Libbie for the past 9 years so we couldn’t have been prouder when the announcement was made that Libbie would be the Godmother of this amazing new vessel. We’re proud to offer AmaWaterways as one of the fine river cruise opportunities to our clients.”

Rhine River Cruise

From Amsterdam to Basel, a Rhine River cruise on your AmaWaterways ship will take you through some of the most beautiful and historic ports in the world. The city of Amsterdam is 700 years old and embraces both modern and historic attributes.

This amazing city has over 60 museums detailing the rich history of the area, and there are many beautiful art galleries to visit. Town squares and crooked little houses are part of the charm you’ll discover as you stroll through this delightful city.

The wonderful shops, bakeries, and cafes are well deserving of a visit. Basel is along the Rhine River in northwest Switzerland close to the borders of France and Germany. Visit the Marktplaz in its medieval old town.

There stands the 16th-century red sandstone Town Hall. The tomb of the Dutch scholar Erasmus is in the 12th-century Gothic cathedral. Each cruise may have different itineraries and excursions. Here at CruiseExperts.com, we’re ready to help you book the Rhine River cruise that fits your time constraints and your budget.

The AmaMora

Floor-to-ceiling windows in the ship’s lounge area allow for guests to enjoy beautiful scenes as they cruise. The Sun Deck is spacious and provides breathtaking views as you cruise the Rhine River.

One of the most beautiful highlights of the cruise is the 40-mile scenic passage through the UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Gorge. The steep sides of the gorge are terraced with vineyards, and there are over 40 castles visible, some dating back to the days of the Romans. Some of the specific itineraries include the Captivating Rhine, Enchanting Rhine, and Christmas Markets on the Rhine.

You’ll find plenty of personal space on the AmaMora as well as numerous dining choices, an all-day tapas menu, afternoon tea, and a 24-hour coffee station. Onboard activities include a sun-deck walking track, pool with swim-up bar, a fitness room, and bicycles to explore your port visits.

For guests who choose a suite, there is a larger seating area, full bath with tub and shower, and beds facing the river so you can enjoy falling asleep and waking up to amazing views.

Today is the day to book your Rhine River cruise on the AmaMora. Choose one of the specific itineraries or one of the seven-night cruises. Don’t wait another minute if you want to cruise the Christmas Markets on the Rhine.
