Meet the World’s Largest Cruise Ship, the Symphony of the Seas

Royal Caribbean has taken cruising to a new level over this past decade introducing one magnificent vessel after another. Now the cruise line is preparing to unveil the Symphony of the Seas, which will boost the title of the world’s largest cruise ship. While the Symphony of the Seas will have numerous standout amenities and onboard experiences, one feature is getting a lot of attention, especially from families. The new ship will debut a two story family suite, which will have a slide connecting the children’s room on the second floor to the main living space on the main floor. An air-hockey table, popcorn machines and movie-theater styled TV room will also be part of the family suite.
In addition to those fun features for children, the family suite will be able to accommodate eight people and will come with its own butler! This suite will truly be in a class of its own and will provide families with a once-in-a-lifetime experience while on their vacation.
The Symphony of the Seas will debut its first sailing in April of 2018. Some of the onboard amenities and features of the vessel include a massive sports bar that spreads across a rear-facing Boardwalk area, a New England-style seafood restaurant, laser tag, three high-speed waterslides, and unmatched entertainment including the Tony-award winning Broadway hit, Hairspray.
